cli reference
nothing to memorize. the name IS the command.
pushto login
connect your terminal to your pushto.host account. opens your browser, you sign in, you're done. you stay signed in on this computer.
pushto init <name>
create a new project and link the current folder to it. the name becomes your web address. writes a .pushto file in your project folder.
pushto init my-portfolio # → my-portfolio.pushto.host
pushto link <slug>
already have a project on pushto and want to point this folder at it? link it by slug. writes the .pushto file for you, no new project created.
pushto link my-portfolio
pushto
deploy. no subcommand needed. that's the whole deploy flow. using git? your commit, branch, and message come along automatically.
the name IS the command.
pushto status
check your project's current status, url, and custom domain. works from any folder that has a .pushto file.
pushto doctor
pre-flight check. verifies you're signed in, your folder is linked, we can detect what your project is built with, your build script and .gitignore are in place, and we can reach pushto.host. also scans for large files. run this before your first deploy.
pushto env set KEY=value
set an environment variable from the terminal. no need to open the dashboard. also: pushto env list, pushto env pull (download to .env), pushto env push (upload your local .env), pushto env rm KEY.
pushto env set DATABASE_URL=postgres://... pushto env list pushto env pull pushto env push pushto env rm OLD_KEY
pushto open
open your live site in the browser. that's it. two words.
pushto rollback [version]
revert to a previous deployment. optionally specify a version number. your last working deploy is restored instantly. the old version becomes the current one.
pushto domain add <domain>
set up a custom domain. shows you the two nameservers to set wherever you bought your domain — we handle the dns records, https, and routing from there.
pushto domain add mysite.com # shows: point your nameservers at # angela.ns.cloudflare.com # coleman.ns.cloudflare.com
pushto logs
view your project's recent activity: deploys, form submissions, cron runs, uptime checks. color-coded by type.
pushto upgrade
check for cli updates and install the latest version. detects your package manager (npm, pnpm, yarn) and upgrades accordingly.
pushto whoami
show your account email and plan. quick sanity check.
pushto use [slug]
switch which project bare pushto commands target. run it with no arguments to list your projects and pick one.
pushto vault upload <file>
file storage from the terminal. upload a file, list what's stored, remove what you don't need. served fast wherever your visitors are.
pushto vault upload logo.png pushto vault ls pushto vault rm logo.png
pushto cron ls
your scheduled jobs, from the terminal. list them, run one right now instead of waiting, or tail a job and watch runs land live. run and tail take a job's name or its id.
pushto cron ls pushto cron run nightly-report pushto cron tail nightly-report
.pushto cron config
add a cron key to your .pushto file and pushto sets up matching jobs on every deploy. name, url, and schedule are required. method defaults to POST. secret is optional. set one and every run carries it as an authorization bearer header, so your endpoint can tell a real pushto tick from a stranger who found the url.
{

pushto auth users

pushto preview create --branch feature-x pushto preview ls pushto preview rm feature-x
